Role Summary
As a Senior Business Central Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations across multiple domains. You will lead discovery workshops, design scalable solutions, and guide clients through digital transformation journeys. This is a strategic role that combines deep product knowledge, business acumen, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Business Central implementation projects from discovery to go-live and post-deployment support
- Facilitate client workshops, requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design
- Configure, test, and deploy Business Central solutions across various modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, Warehousing, etc.)
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the internal project team
- Provide functional leadership to consultants and coordinate with technical teams for customisations, integrations, and reports
- Deliver training, documentation, and change management support to ensure user adoption
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and propose best practice solutions based on industry knowledge
- Ensure project delivery is on-time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards
- Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, and resource plans.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support pre-sales activities including proposal development, demos, and client presentations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations particularly in Finance, Inventory, Manufacturing, Projects and Service Management.
- Proven expertise in at least two of the following: Business Central (BC), Finance & Operations (F&O), Payroll, ERP, CRM.
- Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, HR/payroll, and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-800, MB-310, MB-210) are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related field.
