Content Writer Intern

About the Role:

Dogma Group is seeking a Content Writer Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of the English language, excellent writing skills, and the ability to craft compelling proposals tailored to specific client needs. The Content Writer will work closely with our sales, marketing, project management, and consultant teams to create winning proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition and address client requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and comprehend client needs, objectives, and preferences to customise proposals accordingly.
  • Produce clear, concise, and persuasive content for proposals, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales teams, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
  • Simplify technical information provided by consultants into clear, engaging language for inclusion in proposals.
  • Assist in development of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and reusable assets to streamline the proposal creation process.
  • Ensure proposals adhere to brand guidelines, formatting standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Edit and proofread proposals to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to requirements.
  • Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor strategies related to content writing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing proposal development processes and outcomes.
  • Draft various types of content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, sales collateral like presentations, one-pager documents, and more as needed.
  • Provide support for other content writing projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content writing projects with a focus on proposal development.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to synthesise complex information into clear, compelling content.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with proposal management tools and software (e.g., Qvidian, Proposify, Canva or similar platforms) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Previous experience in the technology sector is desirable.
