Account Manager Trainee

Dogma Group is hiring a Sales Account trainee with an interest in expediating their career in technical sales domain. As an Account Trainee Intern, you will assist the Sales team in supporting client relationships, managing day-to-day account activities, and helping drive customer success. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in account management within the tech automation industry, while working alongside seasoned professionals.

Traineeship Details

  • Duration: 6 months (subject to renewal based on performance)
  • Compensation: Paid
  • Schedule: Full time with preference for availability in BST hours
  • Location: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Support:

  • Assist the Account Managers in maintaining relationships with key clients by providing timely responses to inquiries and assisting with client requests.
  • Support in the preparation of client presentations, reports, and performance summaries.

2. Administrative Support:

  • Help organise client meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting notes to ensure follow-ups on key action items.
  • Maintain and update client information in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

3. Data & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with the account team to analyse client data, generate insights, and assist in the preparation of client-facing reports.
  • Track key performance metrics for accounts and identify trends or issues that may require attention.

4. Learning & Development:

  • Shadow senior Account Managers to gain a deep understanding of account management strategies and processes.
  • Stay informed about the company’s tech automation solutions and industry trends and participate in internal training programmes.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Customer Success) to ensure seamless communication and support for client needs.
  • Assist in gathering client feedback and sharing insights with relevant teams to improve service delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of business operations, marketing, or sales processes (experience in tech automation is a plus but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Microsoft CRM systems is a plus.
