BC Functional Consultant

About the Role:

Dogma International is looking to recruit a highly driven and motivated BC Functional Consultant whose primary responsibilities would be as follows:

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing customer business requirements and recommending solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Developing and maintaining business process documentation, including workflow diagrams and standard operating procedures.
  • Configuring Business Central to meet customer needs, including setting up financials, inventory management, purchasing, sales, and other modules.
  • Conducting user training and providing ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of the system.
  • Collaborating with technical consultants to design and develop customizations, integrations, and reports.
  • Participating in system testing and quality assurance efforts.
  • Ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Providing thought leadership on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of Business Central’s features and functionality, as well as Microsoft’s broader technology ecosystem.
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure project success.
  • Assisting with pre-sales activities, including presenting demos and providing input on proposal development.
  • Managing customer expectations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting workshops and requirements gathering sessions with customers to identify and prioritize their business needs.
  • Providing guidance and advice to customers on best practices for implementing and utilizing Business Central.
  • Configuring Business Central to support complex business processes, such as multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-language environments.
  • Participating in the design and development of data migration and integration strategies to move data between legacy systems and Business Central.
  • Developing test scenarios and conducting system testing to ensure that Business Central is configured correctly and meets customer requirements.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in Business Central and other relevant technologies to provide the best possible solutions to customers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in internal audit with hands-on experience on finance based ERP and CRM solutions preferably Business Central.
  • Knowledge of ERP implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address technical and functional issues.
